COSMIN TOBOLCEA – THE NEW PRESIDENT OF ARIC FOR THE 2026–2030 TERM

We are pleased to announce that, during the ARIC General Assembly held yesterday, Mr. Cosmin Tobolcea was elected President of the association for a 4-year term.

Cosmin Tobolcea, General Manager of PROTOBY and Managing Partner of EURO FINANCE ADVISORS, has over 20 years of experience in the implementation and supervision of construction contracts, both in Romania and internationally. For the last 10 years, he has held the position of Vice President of ARIC, and since 2024 he has been a member of the FIDIC Board of Directors — being the first Romanian to hold this position in the 113 years of existence of FIDIC – the International Federation of Consulting Engineers.

His candidacy was also supported by the President of FIDIC, Mr. Alfredo Ingletti, who stated:

In this context, Cosmin has demonstrated not only a solid comand of FIDIC conditions of contract and international best practices, but also a forward-looking perspective aligned with the key transformations of our profession.

I am confident that, under his leadership, ARIC can further strengthen its positioning — not only in relation to contractual excellence, but also across the broader dimensions that increasingly define consulting engineering today: sustainability, digitalization, the integration of artificial intelligence and international cooperation.”
