Bypass Adunatii Copaceni and rehabilitation of existing road Adunatii Copaceni km 19 + 220 – km 23 + 200

The work is part of a larger project, “Widening to 4 lanes DN5, Bucharest – Giurgiu” assisted financially by the European Union through grants, which aims to ensure improved traffic conditions and reduce travel time on this sector the road.

Bypass of the village Adunatii Copaceni is a road with four lanes (two in each direction) located in the western part of the town and lies between the bridge over the river Arges (km 19 + 220) and km 23 + 573.

Rehabilitation of 3.8 km of existing road in the village was done by executing maintenance works, including laying asphalt and improve the shoulders, without affecting alignment or to enlarge the road.
